Getting your website looking right
The graphic requirements can make a substantial difference to the total project cost. The following considerations need assessing:
Visual identity: do you already have a visual identity for the business or organisation? In other words, is there an existing logo, maybe a colour scheme and/or any other graphical resources which the design of the pages must include?
If Yes, then that's fine, the visual design will have a starting point.
If No, then the job needs to include the creation of your visual brand.
Style and tone: some websites are hip and flashy, some are more sober and dignified. What kind of message do you want to convey? Who are your audience? You know because they are your customers (or service users, or friends, or whoever it is you want to visit your site).
photos: do you have any photographs ready to go onto the site? If not, they will need to be taken, or purchased (there are extensive libraries of photos available for licensing).
layout and menus: we will discuss with you what kind of layout will suit you best, and decide what needs to go into the site's main navigational menus.
