To build a website there are two fundamental types of design involved:

Functional design: what the site will do

Graphic design: what the pages will look like

Both are equally important, and furthermore they must work together. Starting from an understanding of what you want the website to do, we will design and build you a site which meets your needs.

Our in-house expertise is actually in web technology, and in comprehending client requirements to make use of that technology. For graphic design, we work with trusted associates who will deliver the look and feel you want for your site.

We see this as a strength. We deal with the working of the site, that's where our expertise is, and so your site will work for you as you require. At the same time, you aren't restricted to any one graphic style -- you can have it plain and uncluttered, or you can have it bold and bright. We will supply graphic design and web page design to suit you.

Stages of creating a website

Each website build is different, but projects do fall into distinct phases. The following pages outline our approach. In very small projects, some of these steps may be informal, or not required. In larger projects, there will be extra steps that are specific to the needs of the project.
